Episode 40: Undertale
Undertale is the darling game that came to be when a die hard Earthbound grew tired of RPGs and their tired formulas. Incorporating a system where you never have to fight a monster was Toby Fox's way of introducing the world to the idea of random encounter monsters as more than just tools to gain experience; as characters with personalities.
Join xwater and guest host Moni this week as we talk all about the lore and story of Undertale!

History with a sense of humor
I miss this podcast. There are so many interesting games and game series that I would have loved to hear their takes on.

If you have a soft spot for games of the past
This is an awesome cast. These folks really do their research and deliver the goods. I’ve listened to episodes about games/topics I wasn’t necessarily that interested in but become engrossed in their history and the connection to the overall gaming history that most notable games have.
