Episode 38- Featuring Janet Havenga Bellies, Babies and Birth!

    • Health & Fitness

Janet has walked this walk long before she talked the talk. She used to weigh 200+ and decided she wanted to train for the marathon. She hit her target weight! Then realized she still didn't feel the contentment, satisfaction or happiness she expected and it wasn't sustainable. As she learned to trust her intuition, she developed a healthy relationship with food, one which she now shares with her clients. I'm thrilled she has joined us at the Moment of Truth Healing Space as both a holistic nutritionist and yoga instructor.

Highlights

-How to develop a healthy mindset with food.
-Yoga as a guide!
-How to be present, even as you're shifting and changing.
-If you're looking for a great yoga podcast, Janet recommends Be Ultimate with Travis Elliott!

Janet Havenga, founder of Havenga Health has been helping women overcome food addiction as it relates to stress management for the past 4 years. With a background in Yogic philosophical practices including movement, meditation, and ayurvedic principles, Janet works with her clients to create a sustainable and individual solution for women to manage their stress, and finally living a confident and healthy life they deserve.

Personally, Janet has taken the journey she coaches losing over 80lb and leaving a corporate job to pursue her passion for helping women see their own value as they are and not as society wants them to be. “It took me 10 years to discover who I was all along, I want to help my clients see the beauty that lies in each one of them in less time than it took me to do so”

Janet holds a certification in Integrative Nutrition, Personal Training, and 200HR YTT
