    • Self-Improvement

Happy New Year & Excited to share Season Three in 2023!

This week on The Bliss Project Podcast, we're excited to share Episode 38:  The Gift of Kindness with Founder of The Kind Effect, Megan Snedden.

Megan lost her father in a plane crash around ten years ago; which also came on the heels of her losing her brother to a car accident when she was younger. The subsequent events and mental health issues brought her to rock bottom, but the adversity didn't destroy her. Learning to find happiness in despair led her to random acts of kindness, which she then turned into a movement that has inspired millions of people.

Megan is founder of a KTLA-featured random acts of kindness movement, called the Kind Effect.

She has been featured as a guest on KTLA, Good Morning LA-LA Land, Spectrum News and more, and she is extremely passionate about telling the story of kindness because she feels it can really help others, especially those struggling with mental health.

In the episode we discuss:

How Megan’s story of loss and finding her passion in random acts of kindness helped her heal.
How her own journey led to her birthing the Kind Effect Movement.
Taking a first date along for the adventure of offering kindness and the story and inspiration behind the “Kindosaur”.
The importance of Kindness in Mental health support.
Small steps you can take each day to be a little more kind and offer your own random acts of kindness.
How she has taken this movement internationally by combining her passion for kindness and travel.
