    Racism in knitting-
    The comments I saw:
“I don’t see color. I just see people” Is a form of white supremacy.
“I’m white and I’ve been through x, y, and z.” White privilege doesn’t protect you from all the evils of the world. It’s not magic.
“I just want to knit and not get involved or have my bubble burst.” That is white privilege.
“Explorations in Diversity.” And the question from my class.

Will there be an encore?

I really enjoyed listening to all of these. I’m not sure if they are podcasting still, but I wish there were more!

cuteknitter ,

Engaging, charming, and entertaining!

From the ultra-catchy themesong to the very end, I love Backstage Knitting. This podcast combines two of my favorite things- theatre and knitting! The hosts have a great back-and-forth, and Bethany has done a great job womanning the helm while Anna takes a break.

The podcast is organized well, the sound quality is good, and I love how engaged with the community they are. If I lived closer, I would definitely attend their events.

Give this show a listen- it's FANTASTIC!

Tarkshark ,

Static sound

Really tried to listen. Subscribed for awhile but every single episode I had to turn it off early bc of the static in the sound quality and the way that one of the women constantly says "nnnn hmmm. Nnnn k" to agree with her cohost. When they're talking about knitting they are interesting but too many distracting factors for me.
