    In the eight episode of Season 2 for Aftermath Philadelphia, Captain Gillespie sits down with Lt. Bill Walsh of the Voorhees NJ, Police Department. Lt. Walsh is a National Institute of Justice LEADS Scholar & Peer Support Coordinator for his department. In 2019 the International Association of Chief's of Police honored Lt. Walsh as one of their "40 under 40" in policing. In this episode Capt. Gillespie and Lt. Walsh dig into what led Lt. Walsh into Law Enforcement, and further into helping officers when it comes to mental health and wellness. They dig into Lt. Walsh's work as a peer support coordinator and the multi-agency effort in NJ to address and help officers. Further more their conversation dives into how to change the stigma of mental health and officers. Ironically both Capt. Gillespie and Lt. Walsh started their sworn careers in policing in 2003 and discuss the changes in the profession since that time.

P/O Smith is currently assigned to the department's Recruitment Unit and was formally an officer in the 16th District in West Philadelphia. In this conversation Capt. Gillespie and Officer Smith discuss her path from growing up in West Philly to becoming a Prison Guard and ultimately joining the Philadelphia Police Department. They discuss the importance of Police/Community Meetings and the importance of true connections. P/O Smith discusses how getting out of a patrol car to talk to just one person can break down barriers between the police and community. They further discuss the logistics of getting a community event off and running and should Police be involved in social programs such as "Hair Cuts for the Homeless". This episode gives the listener an insight to duties and actions that one may not think police are involved in.

Marlon is a twenty-four year veteran of the LAPD who retired at the rank of Sergeant. In this episode the two discuss a wide range of topics which include Marlon's path to the LAPD and his time in the U.S Navy. The conversation starts with Marlon explaining his time investigating straw purchases of firearms in L.A County. Capt. Gillespie and Marlon examine the core values of the LAPD along with the importance of training. Marlon goes on to explain his thoughts on having life experiences and how that impacts ones ability to be a good officer. The conversation ends with examining Marlon's role as an IAB investigator and how mediation in some complainants can be a positive outcome. Finally the listeners hear about Blue Consulting. The organization that specializes in Internal Affairs training for police departments, which Marlon is the CEO of.

    In the fifth episode of Season 2 for Aftermath Philadelphia, Captain Gillespie sits down with Eugene Roy. Eugene was a thirty year plus veteran of the Chicago Police Department, culminating with his role as the Chief of Detectives for CPD before he retired. Captain Gillespie and Eugene discuss what it is like to be a Patrol Commander, a position that they both have held. Eugene Roy starts off the episode with a story about an interaction he had with former CPD Commander and Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey. Their discussion dig into the importance of investigations and detectives, the criminal justice system as a whole and the importance of a solid witness relocation system. Captain Gillespie and Eugene further discuss the importance of gun cases and the outcomes of those cases, as this has become a national issue.

    In the forth episode of Season 2 of Aftermath Philadelphia, Captain Gillespie sits down with Dr. Zaffer Qasim an Emergency and Trauma/Critical Care Physician at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System. Dr. Qasim has extensive experience in the emergency room of one of the countries busiest ER's, at Penn Presby hospital in West Philadelphia. In this episode Dr. Qasim discusses his path from the United Kingdom to Baltimore and now Philadelphia. The conversations goes into what it is like when one or multiple shooting victim come into the hospital ER, and where police officers should and should not be during that time. Dr. Qasim and Capt. Gillespie discuss the experience of what it is like to tell a parent that their child or loved one did not survive the gunshot and how the victim is respected and cared for at that moment. Further more, Dr. Qasim explains his thoughts and ideas on what measures can be taken to stop this violence, including steps that can educate and prevent gun violence from occurring in the first place.

    In the third episode of season 2 for Aftermath Philadelphia, Captain Gillespie sits down with career public servant Beth Grossman esq. Beth is currently the Program Director for Scioli Turco INC. a non-profit organization that helps to deal with blight, vacant and nuisance properties here in Philadelphia. Beth and Capt. Gillespie discuss her current work with this organization, but also discuss her prior work with the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, where she spent over 21 years. Specifically working as the Chief of the Nuisance Task Force along with her work in the Dangerous Drug Offender Unit. They dig into the work that city Block Captains do and how they can improve neighborhoods, along with addressing quality of life issues. Furthermore they confirm that crimes are not solved and prosecuted in one hour as the show "Law and Order" would leave one to believe.
