Kyle McClellan joins the podcast to talk about his playing career within the NAHL umbrella of leagues. McClellan, a St. Louis native played 4 seasons with CarShield AAA of the NAPHL. Kyle went on to talk about the importance of the NAPHL Showcase and the exposure that the league provides to players who are pursuing the next step of their careers. McClellan then spent a season with the Austin Bruins of the NAHL where he appeared in 44 regular seasons games and a first round of the Robertson Cup Playoffs. The next year, McClellan played one year with the Omaha Lancers, which was cut short due to COVID-19. Kyle then went to Mercyhurst University where he played for two seasons. Over this past summer, McClellan entered the transfer portal and took the opportunity to play at the University of Wisconsin where he is currently in his first season with the Badgers.
