Every day I have conversations with people who are running into the same pain over and over again. It is a pattern, that unless addressed, will cause pain and problems on a consistent basis. The tragedy is that this can be avoided. The quickest and most sure way to live in constant disappointment is to make someone or something else the source of your happiness. Most of our pain comes from the expectations that we place on other people, things, or events.
