Olympic silver medalist, Emma Weyant is a member of Team USA Swim, and a collegiate swimmer at the University of Virginia. She is a three-time US National champion and has won gold for Team USA in the 400 IM at the Junior Pan Pacific Nationals in 2018 and 2019. This past summer, she won silver at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. In this episode, Emma reminds us that confidence comes from preparation, and that success comes from stepping out of your comfort zone. Emma shares the sacrifices she’s had to make to become successful and how she balanced the student-athlete life during the Covid pandemic. She also emphasises the importance of finding a support system. “I think finding your people and finding your place is one of the things you can look forward to when you're in a place where you don't know if you can keep going.”- Emma Weyant
