The Messy Middle was a mainstay as I moved away from black/white thinking. Lyss shares her knowledge in a fun way that aligns perfectly with my intention of having fun while challenging my body. I’m on the cusp of upgrading my Kinesiology Master’s degree thanks to her!

I’ve followed Lyss for several years now, even before she created a podcast platform and one thing that hasn’t changed is her commitment to science and how hard she works to make the information she learns digestible for the average listener. The things she talks about on her podcast are no different. She takes a no-nonsense, somewhat sassy (in all the best ways), scientifically backed approach to all the topics she discusses and I think she’s definitely worth a listen!

Lyss knows her stuff and you can tell. Love that she will explain physiological processes down at the molecular/biochemical and also give you the no-nonsense, actionable takeaways you can actually apply to your training.

Love Doc Lyss! Everything she shares is backed by science and the way she teaches is easily digestible. She’s not afraid to say unpopular truths and to tell people to get out of the weeds and back to the basics of physical health and training. A must listen!
