Episode 68: Make Me Laugh, Funny Man More Gooder Than Podcast
-
- TV & Film
The story of Jim Carrey is one of overcoming adversity. As the only albino of the prolific Wayans clan, James Reginald Reuel Carrey was born without bones and only able to speak through his rectum. However... he quickly developed a talent for humor and by the age of twenty had successfully made all of the money! But that wasn't enough. The siren's call of the Serious Actor is hard to resist, and America's favorite rubber-faced clown soon succumbed. This week, we watched The Truman Show, The Majestic, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. They weren't super hilarious... but they definitely proved that Jim Carrey is more than just an oafish buffoon catering to the lowest common denominator. Still, we couldn't help but demand: Make Me Laugh, Funny Man!
