Episode 7 - A Gill-Girl Called Fanny (with Mark Stay & Ian W.Sainsbury‪)‬ Prompety Prompt

    • Books

Guests Mark Stay and Ian W Sainsbury join hosts Letty Butler and Stephen Mellor in a ‘controversial’ podcast with a difference, for writers and readers alike. In this episode Mark, Ian, and Letty respond live, against the clock, to a series of writing prompts, as well as discussing writing what you know, impostor syndrome, books in the loo and how giving up is the 100% certain way of failing — oh, and Stephen gets scared by his own dyslexia.
The prompts were 200 words on the pre-prepared prompt of ‘The Tear in Her Dress.’ The three minute prompt was ‘The Smell of your Grandmothers Laundry Room,’ and the one minute prompt was ‘Rose.’ The prompts were taken from the Writers Toolkit by Jamie Cat Callan.
