In today’s episode, to celebrate Philippine Independence Day we will explore Financial Independence. I talked to April Waddell. She is a pediatric nurse turned financial wellness coach from Chicago. April was born in Ozamiz City, Mindanao; she immigrated from the Philippines when she was five years old. She recently retired from being a nurse and founded her own company, NurseMoneyDate, LLC. She helps financially frustrated nurses tired of working overtime make smarter money moves like saving and investing so that they can focus on thriving instead of just surviving. She does this by going on fun and educational money dates with her nurse clients.
