    Episode 13 - Amy Matthews

    English Comedian and co host of BBC Sound's "Snookered" podcast, Amy Matthews enters the Sipping Point snug as we're dreaming of the perfect drams once again.  One of the most exciting rising comics at the moment, Amy sets the perfect scene and makes the most of our loose rules when deciding on the duration of her perfect whisky drinking expereince.  This week Alan McLoughlin has provided a couple of the drams, as we give some of the best English whisky a blind test. Can Amy and Angus spot which ones are not Scotch and will they spot the supermarket special?!This time we're tasting Loch Lomond Original, Bamber Ex-Bourbon Cask Batch 2 and Cotswolds 1st fill ex-bourbon & STR ex-red wine.

    We're back as we welcome former Sky Sports reporter and current Head of Communications at Cricket Scotland, Charles Paterson to the Sipping Point Snug as we discuss his dream dram, where he'd drink it and who he'd have with for the ultimate whisky drinking experienceAnd this time the tables have turned as Angus provides the (extra large) drams and Cameron takes a turn in the blind seat. We taste and rank, SWMS 72.113 - Fruity and floral with faint fizz, Tenjaku Japanese blended whisky and Douglas Laing's Big Peat. Can the guys spot the supermarket special and spot the non Scottish dram?

    Episode 9 - Sam Lake

    English Comedian Sam Lake joins us in the Sipping Point Snug as we discuss his dream "dram", where he'd drink it and who he'd have with him for all the goss! We prove that anyone can have a whisky conversation as Sam opts for something a bit more fruity than your traditional whisky flavour, however when it comes to enjoying a dram, we don't care how you do it! We're also back on the blends this week as the guys blind taste Sweetdram Blend #1, Copper Dog and Douglas Laing's Double Barrell Speyside. Can the guys spot the supermarket special and can they identify the flavours there's getting from these ones?!

We hear about her dream dram, the place to drink it and who she'd have there with her!  We also blind taste, review and rank 3 drams as we sample Aberlour 10, Loch Lomond Extra Long Fermentation Distillers Edition and Bunnahabhain an cladach. Can Marjolein and Angus hold themselves together long enough to spot the Supermarket special!

    Internationally renowned Scottish comedian Daniel Sloss joins us in the Sipping Point snug as we discuss his dream dram experience, discussing his favourite flavour, the place he'd love to drink it and who he'd have with him!  We hear how Daniel learned to love whisky due to national pride and which whiskies from around the world he's loved....and hated.  We also blind taste, review and rank 3 drams as this time we have in our glasses Talisker 10, Glenkinchie 2022 Distillery Exclusive and winner of Best In Show at the prestigious 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the Glen Scotia 25.  Can Daniel and Angus spot the Supermarket special! Can they spot the award winning bottle worth about £550? National pride is literally on the line here!

Perpetuity - Batch One, Johnnie Walker Celebration Blend and Kyasuku Japanese Blend are in our glasses this week. Can Ryan and Angus spot the Supermarket special! And how many times can Cam say Perpetuity wrong??!!
