Episode 88 : Is There a Middle Ground? Dualities Duelling Dually The Imaginaries Podcast

    • Society & Culture

Good vs. Evil.
Light vs. Dark.
Hot vs. Cold.
Science Fiction vs. Fantasy.

Dualities (and false binaries) are everywhere you look, and some people are just so dang tired of them. But what do dualities *do* for us, and is it even *possible* to move beyond using them as the lenses through which we view these genres that we love?

This week, while Tony gallavants around the country and Kend prepares to move, we bring you a conversation about the ins and outs of dualities, craft a few of our own "better" dualities, and explore just what it might mean to break the universe down for parts and smelt it into something not rooted in duality.

Please note: Tony's break bends in mysterious ways. Kend's just falls apart. This is our truest, purest form of interdependency.
