Love to hear it

I LOVE this podcast so much. It’s so interesting and definitely covers a variety of fashion topics. However, I’m sad that there has not been a second season yet.

Usually interesting, sometimes a little surface level

As someone who is very interested in the fashion industry I do think this podcast is one of the few that usually does a good job tackling fashion topics that go farther than a celebrity red carpet review. (BOF is another good one, if anyone is interested) You do also get a sense of personality from the group which is fun and I have enjoyed their guests that they have brought in to have conversations with. However sometimes their discussions do feel a little too surface level and like we are missing a greater, deeper discussion about some really harsh realities of the industry. I would love to hear more about issues like discrimination that goes beyond one of the hosts stating that she loves Kate Spade because they carry her size compared to a lot of brands, or about vintage culture and the environmental issues fashion creates beyond recommending that people shop from the site TheRealReal. I do think there is a lot of potential for this podcast to lead to some really good discussions and it already does a decent job at that, but I think it could be done better.
