This week we're joined by Dr. Marion Nestle; professor of nutrition, food studies, and public health at NYU. Marion has worked as the Senior Nutrition Policy Advisor in the Department of Health and Human Services and editor of the 1988 Surgeon General's report on nutrition and health. Her research examines the scientific and socioeconomic influences of food, obesity, and food safety, with an emphasis on the role of food industry influence.
