La Jolla Playhouse's Digital WOW series launches WALKS OF LIFE by San Diego's Blindspot Collective. Each 30-minute episode offers the opportunity to connect and bear witness to stories that might be unfolding in the homes around you. These audio plays are intended to be experienced while taking a walk around your neighborhood, but can also be enjoyed while sitting in front of a window at home or on a bike ride. Please be safe and follow the rules of the road.
WALKS OF LIFE - Episode One offers three short audio plays: TATYA AND NINI by Catherine Hanna Schrock featuring Lanna Joffrey & Julie Meram; EXTRA CREDIT by Gill Sotu featuring Bryan Barbarin, Monique Gaffney & Isabella Pruter; and ELAINE: LIVE AT LIVING ROOM with book & lyrics by Blake McCarty, music by Ian Brandon featuring Andrew Paiva. WALKS OF LIFE is directed by Catherine Hanna Schrock and Blake McCarty, with sound design by Melanie Chen Cole and narration by Kandace Crystal.
