After a bit of a delay we’re finally back with the third episode of the Alleged Podcast and we’ve got a banger for you! If you don’t know about Kim Hastreiter then you’re in for a real treat. She’s probably most well known for confounding the NYC "underground bible" Paper Magazine in 1984, but her life story goes way beyond that. She helped build the first building at Arcosanti in the 60s, studied with John Baldesarri in the ‘70s, was a regular at the Mudd Club and introduced Keith Haring to Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm Maclaren in the 80s. It just goes on and on. She’s one of a kind and we’re so honored that she gave us her time and wisdom for this episode. Apologies for the audio quality (we had some technical problems) but it shouldn’t take away from Kim’s supreme radness. I love this woman and I’m sure you will too. Enjoy!!
