Eric Grey: Self Care and Practice Evolution The Integrative Veterinarian

    • Alternative Health

In this episode I check back in with Eric Grey, licensed acupuncturist, who was a guest on episode 35. Eric and his wife and business partner, Licensed Massage Therapist Amanda Barp, own Watershed Wellness Astoria. In episode 35, Eric and I discussed the history of their business and his intention to limit his practice to herbal medicine. In this episode, he and I return to that decision, talk about the changes that have occurred at the practice, and how his recent commitment to Buddhism has given him the space to resume practicing both acupuncture and herbal medicine. We also discuss how they have managed transitioning patients between providers in the practice.
Please enjoy this episode with Eric Grey as we examine how stress affects our professional practice and the importance of self-care in maintaining our health.
