“When I made EFNY, I used predominantly the original John Carpenter Movie Soundtrack, with some extra bits and pieces by yours truly and others. I’ve had a number of folks ask what the original End Credits music is, as it’s not on their Soundtrack CD but sounds like it should be. Some have also asked if I’d make it available, figuring that it’s a lost or rare John Carpenter piece.
Needless to say it’s not. This gem is actually by a very good friend of mine. Steve’s a huge fan of both John Carpenter’s Movies and Music. When I started production on the series, I had in the back of my mind the Demo that Steve had sent me of the track, which he’d written as a tribute to the works of JC.
Knowing just how close this is to the Music from the OST, I asked Steve if I could use it on the BSAP Audio series. To my delight, he said Yes. Flash forward a couple of years, and I realised I hadn’t said thank you properly for the tune. So I decided to put that to rights, and Produced this Remix as my way of saying Thanks.
Cheers Steve! Keep On Rocking My Friend!”

Four Months Later

Well, here we are four months later and no new episode. I hope to hear this show again, time will tell.

A Movie For Your Ears!

It is very rare that I give anything a perfect score. After all, "Perfect" doesn't happen too often. EFNY from BrokenSea, however, is absolutely PERFECT. The audio effects, voice talents, and script are superior to almost all of the podcasts I have listened to (and I have listened to A LOT!). Being a fan of the original J Carpenter movie, I have to applaud BrokenSea for their faithfulness to the original. As of this writing, only Ep 1 is available, but if the rest are this good, they need to win some sort of award!

Melt your speakers goodness

Upfront, I need to say that I'm part of BrokenSea, but I was not prepared for the audio greatness that Stevie created on this project. Stevie has brought Bill Hollweg's vision of this classic John Carpenter work to life in a whole new manner. It surrounds you in its atmosphere and you are trapped on Manhattan Island - Maximum Security Penitentiary with all the crazies! Listen with headphones for full effect, but be warned, you'll need a new pair when you're done, cause they're gonna melt!
