Estate Planning can be ROMANTIC? Yep!
EARN brownie points with a spouse or partner by writing a list of things your partner/spouse deserves if you’re gone.

This week, Michelle sprinkles some Valentines Day spirit on the topic of Estate Planning.
What?! How can you possibly romanticize kicking the bucket? Well, you can’t. But what you can do is start a loving conversation with your spouse about what they would need for their own wellbeing to deal with the loss of you.

Michelle and Jeff do a little role play of how this conversation might go. They talk about key topics to discuss with your spouse, refilling your energy tank, and ways to be, well…proactive!
By taking the time to be a little proactive, you can help the people you love to live the life that they deserve when you’re no longer around.
We hope that this podcast motivates you to write your own letter to your spouse about the life they deserve. After writing this letter, we hope that you seek out an estate planning attorney to help you create the planning documents that will help your spouse really enjoy the list of things you want them to enjoy if something happens to you.
Here’s the bottomline. You’re never too old to plan for what happens after you die, but you can be too late. Let’s make a plan (i.e., set aside some money for the things a spouse/partner enjoys as one idea) for what happens when you die so that you can show love to your spouse or partner even after you die – so you can love them longer.
