Dispatch 45 Beto's Out - Interview with Politico's David Siders
Congressman Beto O'Rourke entered the presidential race with much fanfare on March 14, 2019 and suddenly announced the endo fo his campaign on Friday, November 1, 2019.
There's still 100 days until the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire primaries, so a lot can happen. Which of the remaining 17 Democratic Party primary contenders do you think will or SHOULD win?
Plus my interview with Politico's National Political Reporter, David Siders, who had been embedded with the Beto campaign, on what went wrong, what role the media played, and what comes next for Beto.
Vindman Validates Quid Pro Quo and How Whistleblowers Connect MeToo
The Trump Impeachment continues to move ahead with incredible testimony today from Colonel Vindman.

Dispatch 43 World Series Boos Trump with a Lock Him Up
President Trump got a taste of his own medicine last night when he was booed and received chants of "lock him up" at the MLB World Series Game 5 between the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros in Washington, D.C.
Joe Scarborough on Morning Joe/MSNBC and Sen. Chris Coons (D-CT) on CNN New Day with John Berman expressed their issues with it. I counter and explain why I'm okay with the chants.
Plus, the leader of ISIS died over the weekend during a US Special Forces raid. I congratulate the right people and point out how the Trump playbook actually didn't help.
Dispatch 42 PG&E Turns Off The Power
Pacific Gas & Electric is responsible for over 100 deaths, tens of billions of dollars of damage, and tens of thousands of housing and other structures lost in Northern California. They're the public power monopoly. Today they turned off the power because winds were picking up.
No government official, not the governor, not the PUC, not anyone has held them accountable. Only the bankruptcy judge has stood up to their ways. I say they need to be broken up and we need to rethink the entire power grid.
Turning off the power like we're a Third World country is totally unacceptable.
Dispatch 41 Iowa Steak Fry Climate Crisis Strike
Friday was the Global Climate Crisis Strike with record attendance.
Saturday was the Democratic Party Steak Fry where the candidates made their case while the latest Des Moines Register/CNN Poll came out with Sen. Elizabeth Warren ahead, while statistically tied, with Vice President Joe Biden. How well do you trust these polls that sample only 602 likely Democratic caucusgoers?
Plus, my conversation with radio professor emeritus and publisher of TALKERS, Michael Harrison from his WONK-FM show The Michael Harrison Wrap regarding the CNN Climate Town Hall.
Dispatch 40 Biden Campaign Climate Crisis
Dispatch 40 focuses on Joe Biden in the CNN's Climate Crisis Town Hall (don't worry I'll discuss the other candidates in the next episodes!) and his history as a climate leader.
Plus, Germany has announced they'll ban glyphosate, the key chemical in Bayer/Monsanto's RoundUp and why that matters in relation to the Climate Crisis.
