Pedro Écija Serrano leads Grant Thornton’s actuarial and data analytics team. He has over 20 years of experience in insurance and completed a degree in statistics and operations research before becoming an actuary.
Pedro is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland, where he chairs its data analytics committee. He is also a member of EIOPA’s Expert Group on Digital Ethics, focused on ethics in AI.
In addition to providing actuarial advisory services at Grant Thornton, Pedro and his team help clients to embed data analytics in their businesses, and provides machine learning and data modelling services to insurers.
