“Together: Doorkeepers” Psalm 133 has just three verses, but it has a lot to say about the harmony we enjoy when we gather. Together we find refuge from the anger and division in our culture.
“Together: Doorkeepers” The writers of Psalm 84 don’t need any convincing that church is important, they have experienced the difference it makes in their own lives: “Blessed are those who dwell in your house” (v. 10). And they point out another big reason being together is so important—serving together is life-giving, for us and for others.
"God Over Everything"
“God Over Everything” This world offers us a lot of things to put our hope and trust in, but they all leave us feeling empty. In Joshua 24, we are given insight on how to choose God over everything.
Mother's Day- "Real Beauty"
“Real Beauty” On this Mother’s Day, Heather Gross speaks to every woman and girl from 1 Peter 3:3-4. The heart of God breaks for His daughters who have been deceived by the world’s preoccupation with external beauty. Through His Word, we hear His tender, healing words about real beauty—inner beauty.
“Together: Our Testimony”
“Together: Our Testimony” In Psalm 40 we learn another reason why being together each Sunday is so important. We gather to testify to God’s deliverance. Having been delivered by God, David, shares his testimony to provoke others to testify to what God has done in their lives as well.
“Together: Never-Ending Praise”
“Together: Never-Ending Praise” Throughout history, in spite of what may be happening around the church, or even to the church, God’s people have gathered to declare His praises. As we do, the gospel becomes impossible for the world to ignore. Psalm 145 reminds us that there may be no greater witness to the world than our worship TOGETHER!
