Bad News
Some bad news everybody. After much thought and deliberation, Jim and I have decided to cancel Everybody Loves Reagan. There are a lot of reasons, which we talk about on this podcast, none of which individually would be fatal, but taken all together we think it’s the best thing to do. It’s not a good feeling for us, and I apologize if we’ve let you down.
I’m going to update this post with The American’s podcast recommendations, and I’ll get things started by recommending Slate’s The Americans Insider Podcast. If you have others, send them in, and I’ll add them right here.

On this week’s The Americans on FX, episode 304, “Dimebag”, things get pretty gross. Phillip wrestles with recruiting an underage daughter of a CIA official, Elizabeth throws down the guantlet on Page and then Jesus Christ our Lord Himself, Stan learns how to get in touch with his boring-ass inner self, and Nina find intrigue in track suit prison. Ah, The Americans: If stuffing a woman into a suitcase and pulling teeth on screen won’t “nope” you out, how about child predation? All this and some feedback that has the guys rethinking things. The best show on basic cable deserves more coverage. Please, do it for Character Actress Margo Martindale and the kids.

Hope you guys will reconsider and do the full season next year
At least I have my health
I typically let shows run for a couple of years to hear if they are any good or not before investing my time in a show. My new standard has been if Jim and A. Ron are doing a podcast, then I will watch it.
The Americans is the first show that I have watched that I feel is on the same level as Breaking Bad and listening to the "Bad News" podcast felt as if my dog died, my girlfriend dumped me, my boss fired me and a 5 year old whacked me in the junk with a whiffle ball bat to claim the top prize on AFV, all in the same day!
I hope you guys find a way to bring it back! FYI, while I love the title of the podcast, I think it made it extremely hard to find in iTunes since you have to enter "Bald Move" in the search field for it to come up. I think that reduced your listeners to only being people that already know about Bald Move and knew you guys were doing an Americans podcast.
