Billy "BJ" Jones interviews Luz Agudelo, author Out Loud: June’s Venture, a children's book about bullying.

Agudelo was born in Zaragoza, a small town in the mountains of Colombia, and currently resides in Miami with her six rescued cats. She facilitates family workshops in English and Spanish on positive parenting topics. 

Agudelo has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Public Administration from Florida International University (FIU). She has completed coursework toward a credential in Certified Professional Coach Program at the University of Miami's Division of Continuing and International Education.

Bass has a master's degree in social work and a master's degree in journalism while working in public relations. Also, she has studied child development. She uses these insights to inform her picture book writing. Her goal is to produce lighthearted, rhyming stories with gentle themes of teamwork and friendship.
