Welcome to my podcast! I’m Nimi Mehta, and most people in Dubai know me as one half of the Breakfast Show on Channel 4 FM. However, between hosting on the radio, my live appearances and my career goals I’m also a daughter, sister, friend and now... a wife! To make sense of all this I decided to do what I do for a living, talk into a mic, directly to those that I care about and that care for me. So let’s talk...

The subjects? Life, love and long distance relationships. Oh and spirituality, career, health and... well, basically, Everything Legit.

    Ok...I'm living with my Husband

I'm finally back with Season TWO! So much has happened this year that in true Nimi style I had to blurt it all out and share it with you. #20 - James Asquith - Take Control of Your Life

#20 - James Asquith - Take Control of Your Life

In this episode I spoke with an old friend of mine, James Asquith. At age 24, he got the World Record for the youngest man in the world to travel to all 196 countries in the world, he's an author, an ex-investment banker and the CEO of Holiday Swap.
I wanted to find out how someone has achieved what we all wish we could do - travel around the world for a living. We get into James' humble beginnings, how he caught the travel bug and how investment banking shaped his outlook on what he didn't want to become.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!

#18 - How to get into the media industry Q&A (because Corona)

Corona virus has meant all my live speaking events are cancelled. The one event I’m really sad to miss out on is a talk for school children trying to get into media. My team and I had already done the prep work for this talk and it seemed a shame to miss it, so we put the answers together and wanted to share it with you on the show today. We’ll also be sending this to as many people we know that are staying at home in the coming weeks. If you’ve been thinking about getting into the media industry, hopefully this will give you a head start.

#17 - Fake It Till You Become It

While scrolling through my notes the other day, I came across an old article that I had written when I had just turned 25, I was a freelancer (unemployed) and was approached by a brand to write about my success. Not feeling like I had been that successful, I wrote about how I thought I would feel if I had been. Now looking back on it, I realised I faked it until I became it.
