Today, we talk about exercise, nutrition science, and public health with Kyle Levers, PhD, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences in the GW Milken Institute School of Public Health.
Dr. Levers also serves as the Director of the Metabolism and Exercise Testing Research Services and Academic Laboratories. The lab was set up to further expand public health-related research in the DC metro region by providing a readily accessible and professional space for principal investigators to engage in rigorous and reliable data collection across the physical activity, exercise physiology, nutrition, and human performance disciplines.
Dr. Levers has a background in athletic performance development at the Division I collegiate level and in the private sector. He has co-authored several articles published on the impact nutrition and supplementation have on exercise performance and body composition.
