EXHORDER - Kyle Thomas (2024‪)‬ FaceCulture: Giving You The People Behind The Music

    • Music Interviews

Exhorder is one of the pioneers within the groove-oriented thrash metal scene, later occupied by heavyweights like Pantera and Machinehead. The New Orleands band, with vocalist and guitarist Kyle Thomas at its helm, has made waves in the metal scene since their debut album 'Slaughter in the Vatican' was released in 1990.  The band broke up a few years after their second album 'The Law' (1992) and didn't release new music until 2019 with the album 'Mourn the Southern Skies'. We spoke with Kyle about their latest album 'Defectum Omnium' (2024), the punk mentality, making people feel something with their music, his voice, keeping a band together, guitarist Pat O'Brien (Cannibal Corpse) joining the band, and a lot more!
