Not Just For Comedians

I am not a comedian (I am actually a librarian) but as a GenXer who was clueless about pursuing a career path in college, who graduated into a terrible job market (1992), who has moved around and left my career field several times, who hates working a full-time job, and who has intermittently pursued creative dreams both on the job market and on the side, I completely relate to the stories that are told here! It's been very therapeutic. It has also reinforced some of the benefits of my steady job (that I dream about leaving).

For new AND experienced comedians

Great podcast. Jeff interviews well. Through his conversations, he gives insight and history of the comedy scene. The podcast is usually 40+ minutes long. I’m surprised that long of a conversation could have the refreshing and warming quality of a conversation between friends. I look forward to it every week!

Inspiring, Sweet

Such a sweet, inspiring podcast. As someone starting out in comedy, Exit Strategy provides more fuel to keep going, and makes it hard to imagine a future doing anything else. (Might be the opposite of the pod’s intention?) In any case, I love it. Exit Strategy has a new spot in my weekly podcast line up. 👍🏼
