Join me, Eric Freidensohn aka Efdot, Brooklyn based artist and muralist for the Extra Paint podcast. In this episode I speak with Stefan Matioc, a visual artist based in Madison, Wisconsin. Stefan began his career as an animator, working a 9 - 5 while diligently creating his own art on the side before making the leap to full time freelance this year. His playful and spontaneous work was an obvious creative match for my own style and we have been collaborating as often as we can since first connecting in Mexico after I saw Stefan’s work in person. In this episode, we speak honestly about drawing as a visual journal, finding therapy in the act of creating and the importance of persistence over consistency.
