    Moving Forward: Fog

    Moving Forward: Fog

Florence Chadwick gave up because the fog rolled in. Many times in life, we give up as well, fall just short, because we get discouraged and anxious when the fog rolls into our lives.  Is there a way through the fog?  When uncertainties and difficulties come, is there a way to overcome our anxiousness and move forward — even when we can’t see what’s ahead? Jesus gave His disciples and us a way through the confusion.  Join us as we continue our sermon series MOVING FORWARD this Sunday.

    Moving Forward: Not Yet

    Moving Forward: Not Yet

On long trips to their grandparent’s house, our children used to frequently ask, “Are we there yet?”  They would groan when I told them how much further we had to go.  To inspire them and keep me sane for the rest of the journey, I used to remind them of what we would do and who we would see when we arrived. Thinking on what awaited us helped encourage us to keep moving forward.  Jesus did the same for His disciples and for us.  Join us as we continue our sermon series MOVING FORWARD.

    Moving Forward: Lean

    Moving Forward: Lean

In the movie Groundhog Day, weatherman Phil Connors (Bill Murray) gets stuck experiencing the same day over and over and over again.  Like Phil, we can easily get stuck in these days of COVID, social distancing, and isolation.  But we don’t have to be spiritually stuck.  Jesus gave His disciples some words in John 14 to help them for the days ahead when they would feel stuck without Him physically beside them.  And He wants to speak those words into your life this weekend.  Join us as we start a new series MOVING FORWARD.

    When God is Late

    When God is Late

Can you remember a time you were late for something? Scrambling around the house trying to find your wallet or keys and getting out the door. We can all look back and remember a time that we can laugh about but what about a time you were left waiting? When someone didn’t show up, when they left you feeling abandoned. We can feel that way about God sometimes when there’s things we begged and prayed for but God seemed distant and late to show up. Join pastor Nicole this Sunday for online church and learn 4 critical things we must remember when we feel like God was late.
