Can’t miss a single episode

I’ve been listening to podcasts for years but this is my very first review, if that means anything. I am hooked on this series. It has changed the way I look at the gospel and has helped me work through some questions and misunderstandings I’ve been hung up on. The canon episodes have been the most mind rocking ones for me so far. A+ every time. Keep it up guys!

Wonderful! Absolutely love it.

This is a fantastic LDS-themed podcast! The Stanleys have created an entertaining, thoughtful, humorous, well-produced, and most importantly, faith-promoting (as its title declares) podcast. There are so many "LDS" podcasts out there that cleverly and subtly preach false doctrine (or "progressive Mormonism," is I've come to call it) under the guise of a well-intentioned Church-related podcast. Faith Promoting Rumors is most certainly not that. These men are not trying to lead listeners astray with pretentious, pseudo-intellectual babble nor do they have a hidden agenda. Their episodes are full of wildly interesting and well-researched information while always grounding their conversations in the Gospel and their testimonies of it, maintaing reverance and respect for the scriptures and the teachings of the prophets. I absolutely love what John and Bill are doing and hope they are able to continue producing episodes for a very long time. Thanks guys!

Best LDS Podcast I've Heard

This is a fantastic podcast. Their intended audience is other active Mormons and they talk about little things you may or may not have heard in church that may or may not be true. They have two different perscriptives—John is more into sqashing silly, sometimes whimsical, rumors like Bigfoot while Bill is making sure people separate the Gospel from the Church—and they work togehter really well. The production quality is great as well: good sound, good editing, good guests. Overall I'm very impressed with this podcast.
