Excellent Series

I found this series on YouTube and it almost single-handedly reignited my interest in history. The scope of the stories told and the care taken to tell them is incredible.

So good

I would be interested in the material regardless, but this podcast is so well done that each episode is very, very engaging. If you have any interest in ancient history or past civilizations—even if you don’t think you’re interested in their fall necessarily—you’ll like this podcast

This podcast

I listened to several of these including the Carthage, Assyrians, Sumerians. This is a great podcast. The way it is told, the sounds and music, the detail and the lament, all is very well done. It really takes you to the time and especially if one is interested and excited about this kind of history, this podcast is incredible.
