Healthcare Is Expensive And I Feel Guilty Spending Money Sometimes
It's been a while since we've talked! In this episode, I get personal and talk about my experience with the healthcare system. I'm trying to change my money mindset to realize that peace of mind is worth a lot.
In this episode, I talk briefly about my cancer story and how money and healthcare are intertwined. I had my first experience as a consumer with the No Surprises Act, and I attempt to explain it.

Is This The Least Talked About Vehicle For Financial Independence? (Spoiler: Legal Insurance)
Whether you're an entrepreneur or not, it's beneficial to utilize legal services proactively. A way that makes it more affordable is by using legal insurance.
Valerie used it for her estate planning recently, and saved about $1k. She also doesn't think she would have done it without the insurance. We all sign contracts on a regular basis, and it's a good practice to have attorneys look over what you're signing (housing contracts, job offers, car purchases, etc.)
Although this sounds a little like an ad, it's not sponsored.
We recommend carefully understanding the plans' exclusions before you commit to signing up for the plans. Valerie's plan doesn't cover business related expenses.

Is your MLM just a scam? What red flags are there?
Whether you call it an MLM, pyramid scheme, or network marketing, everyone has opinions on this type of business. I am personally very hesitant to recommend this type of business model because the data shows that the vast majority of business owners make minimal money (if any at all). Lots of women want to work from home, and it's easy to get sucked into the promises of an easier lifestyle (at least as social media shows).
Our guest today, Sheryl Scott has some experience with MLMs, and she has had some positive experience. She shares red flags to look for and talks about specific questions you should ask when you're considering joining one of these programs.
Interview starts at 02:42
