#28 The Mandalorian: Chapter 8 spoiler review

The first season of The Mandalorian comes to a close in spectacular fashion, courtesy of director Taika Waititi in "Chapter 8: Redemption." The Child is in enemy hands and our heroes are pinned down by Moff Gideon and a small army of stormtroopers, and that's just the start. What follows is an episode packed with Waititi's unique blend of heart and humor, thrilling action, surprise reveals, and the Armorer continuing to be one of the best things to ever happen to Star Wars! We discuss it all in this spoiler review!

#26 The Mandalorian: Chapter 7 spoiler review

Director Deborah Chow is back with the penultimate episode of The Mandalorian this season. "Chapter 7: The Reckoning" is exactly that. Our dear Mando calls on a few friends for a risky plan in hopes of securing The Child's safety once and for all. He expects a trap, but the danger is so much greater than he realizes. We break down this extraordinary episode in our spoiler review!

#25 The Mandalorian: Chapter 6 spoiler review

Director Rick Famuyiwa returns to The Mandalorian with "Chapter 6: The Prisoner." We didn't love "Chapter 5," but this was a return to form as one of the best episodes yet! Our main Mando has to take a job with unsavory allies. The mission goes awry (how could it not?), leaving Mando no choice but to resort to some of the tactics with which he built his reputation. We break down every incredible moment in this spoiler review!

#24 The Mandalorian: Chapter 5 spoiler review

Sometimes, a show you love very much can let you down. "Chapter 5: The Gunslinger" came in below the high bar set by the first four installments of The Mandalorian, but there is still cause for excitement. A classic Star Wars planet looked as good as ever and a tease at the end may set up the return of an iconic character. We discuss it all in this spoiler review!

#23 The Mandalorian: Chapter 4 spoiler review

#23 The Mandalorian: Chapter 4 spoiler review

Director Bryce Dallas Howard brings us the debut of Cara Dune (Gina Carano) in "Sanctuary," the fourth chapter of The Mandalorian! Mando is looking for a place to lie low and keep Baby Yoda (for want of an official name) safe. Sorgan looks like the perfect place, but as we continue to learn, safety is in short supply in this galaxy. Thankfully, there are friends to be found, not only in Cara Dune, but also Omera (Julia Jones). We discuss "Sanctuary" in full spoiler detail as we reach the halfway point of this first season!

A gift...

Of course I would subscribe to a Star Wars podcast hosted by Sean Gerber, everyone should! His cohost for podcast was an awesome man named John Bierly. Never having met John and only hearing him on this podcast, it was apparent how passionate he was for Star Wars and he was a delight to listen to. He and Sean worked so well together on this show that it quickly became a favorite of mine. John’s passing is so very unfortunate but we are all so very lucky to have a part of him here on the Fandalorians podcast forever. Rest In Peace, John 🙏

Sean is a fantastic podcaster. Honestly Paul is terrible. I’m really disappointed to hear him on Fandalorians. “24/7, 8 days a week.”-Paul
