Important self-examination

This is an encouraging platform for a nuanced conversation about how the future of South Dakota farming will continue to feed the world and our own community, while working to capture greenhouse gases and rebuild the world’s most productive soils. The high prairie farmers have an important role to play in the global food system. We really need to examine how we can continue to make farming a profitable industry and at the same time take care of our environment and society.
