I’m a long time listener and just finished this episode with Fascat coach Justin Bowes. What I loved is Justin’s emphasis on the “soft skills” needed to get the most from the hard physical work we do on the bike. It’s not just about watts; it’s really about building a complete athlete with things like focus, preparedness and positive thinking. Coach Frank- and all the coaches- are the real deal and cut through the noise to give you realistic, actionable coaching advice. I started with one of their base plans in December and I’m riding much faster now that we are in season. Moving from base to race to dial things up a bit more. It works. Not too hot… not too cold…. Just right.
