Friends…fatherlessness is a huge crisis in our world, and if we’re really being honest, just about every deep-seeded societal issue we face is rooted in the systemic problem of fatherlessness.
The numbers bear this out – for example, more than 18.4 million children in America live without a biological father, a stepfather or an adoptive father in their home, and we’re seeing the effects of this reverberate throughout the rest of society, because research FURTHER shows that fatherless children are more likely to live in poverty, suffer from a mental issues or engage in antisocial behavior, and more prone to have problems at school.
Well, it’s time for the people of God to FIGHT BACK against this crisis, and this episode of “Deeper in the Word” hopes to kickstart JUST that! Because this episode’s special guest just so happens to SPECIALIZE in dealing with this topic and has dedicated his life towards what he describes has helping men heal from the trauma of fatherlessness “through the pursuit of masculine righteousness through forgiveness”.
