Liz's vocal fry

I was initially happy to find a Teen Mom podcast but it's become really hard to listen to. The host talks incessantly about herself, her drug problem, her convict ex-boyfriend and her family. I'm here for Teen Mom not the Liz Bentley show. Also, the vocal fry is unbearable. Please stop.

Fave TM podcast

Liz gives a good perspective and when she has a guest, it is usually going to be a great and long episode. She doesn’t do impressions (thank god) and takes a more serious tone about sensitive topics than the other TM pods.

I have to take a star away though because she has been phoning it in more lately and it shows she’s not enjoying what she’s doing. Those episodes can be pretty disappointing.

Episodes getting posted late or simply not at all is unprofessional. It’s fine to take a planned week off but this shouldn’t mean your fans waking up to no episode with no explanation.

Let us know at the end of the previous episode what to expect or record a few one-off episodes and save those to release when you’re unable to record.

A singular experience- not for everyone though!

This show goes to some really unexpected places, and in that respect is in a league of its own. It’s not for everyone, and not for every occasion, ha; it’s a little inconsistent and unapologetically lo-fi. The host makes no bones about it either, and these qualities sort of contribute to its charm. However, the snark, and the depth of the “research” is unparalleled. I didn’t give the full five because of the inconsistency— Ms Bentley will let you know if she’s phoning it in! That can be endearing but it seems to be a lot, lately. That being said, it will enrich your understanding of Teen Mom. Guest “Princess” is truly hilarious, too. Give it a shot.
