Episode 5: Intro. Meditation & Mindfulness

Episode 5: Intro. Meditation & Mindfulness

Recording from a thunderstorm in Chicago, IL, Sahnya works on her own mindfulness practice with the distractions of wind, rain, ambulance sirens, and thunder, and shares with you a different perspective on meditation and mindfulness. It's not a mystery. We are wired to meditate if we tap into it. Sahnya says meditation is quite simple and not a "one size fits all." She guides you through a simple intentional breath exercise and assures you that we CAN make a choice to control our attention wherever we want to put it.

Such a great resource!

I had the pleasure of taking a meditation class from Sahnya at a conference last month. I found that one hour with her to be so helpful and informative that I wished I could train with her regularly. Unfortunately we live in different parts of the country, so I went home happy to have had the opportunity to learn from her. But THEN, I found out that she has this awesome podcast! Now I can continue to benefit from her wonderful approach to martial arts, meditation and LIFE, and also share her gifts with my community back home. Thank you so much, Sahnya!
