Check out the world's first ever podcast about the Christian children's animated sensation, Veggietales, as we put far too much effort into figuring out the internal logic of this dumb cartoon for babies, as well as analyze the series' religious messages and how they relate to modern mainstream Christianity, which, if you didn't notice, can be kinda messed up sometimes!

Emily joins for a show that seems to exist in the aftermath of the great failure of Big Ideas. Bob and Larry want to put on a show and they’ve forgotten the good word. So they decide to steal from children. Bit of a mixed metaphor. Also there’s a lot of talk about death fearing kids, goofs and musicals.

This is a veggietales podcast now and it's great
In this podcast, the hosts Luke and Molly go through Veggietales, a CGI christian direct-to-video cartoon series, easily one of the most famous of its caliber. There is usually a guest, and when the guest is brought on they'll open with a discussion on the guests history with religion and their history with Veggietales. These discussions go into the nature of religious culture, particularly american christian culture.
The main discussion focuses on being critical of the show's morals, as well as trying to find explanations to its cartoon logic where vegetables exist and eat decidedly non-people vegetables. There is also heavy discussion of series creator Phil Vischer and trying to observe his political beliefs (which he seems to avoid discussing most of the time).
It's very funny and insightful and I highly recommend it.

The hosts are great, the commentary is great. It a great show all around, whether it’s your first time in the entry plug or your hundredth time. You will enjoy this podcast!
