Season 2, Episode 14: Our Greatest Teachers with Mollie Raymond

In this episode Les sits down with one of his greatest teachers, his daughter, Mollie Raymond. Together they discuss a variety of topics to explore the perspectives of a teenaged human growing up in the environment resulting from a pandemic.
    RESOURCES:
    "Wand" by: Mollie Raymond
writing is such a sacred thing
and i feel like a bulldozer troll
for stamping on it with my
    giant cement feet
    for abusing words
    imposing my will.
sorry i have not been gentle
and sorry that these days i only write to
take out the trash in my mind.
    sorry i’m not open
    to receiving, to submitting
    to the universe.
    sorry i’m not a wand,
one end planted in the earth, drawing up
water and minerals, the other end pointed
    at the sky, channeling all
    the sun’s brilliance,
then transmuting these energies into art.

when my therapist curses, it makes me think
it’s okay to take out my feelings on the ground,
to stomp, to scream, to say f**k.
sometimes i should still be quiet.
    birds and singing bowls
    make gentle music.
you have to stop talking to listen.

thank you for humbling me, god.
god knows, well i guess you know,
    i needed it.

Season 2, Episode 12: Good Medicine with Angell Deer

Season 2, Episode 12: Good Medicine with Angell Deer

In this episode, Les sits down (via the interwebs) with Angell Deer. Angell is the founder of the sanctuary healing center in New York where he practices shamanism and a wide variety of healing modalities to allow mother nature’s wisdom to surface. After this conversation you may feel inspired to grab a plant from your back yard and eat it. Please don’t do that, but hopefully you will dig a little deeper in the learning that awaits you.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
After a career that scaled the heights of corporate success as a CEO of global companies, Angell Deer decided to completely change his life and made a life-changing commitment to helping others in their search for peace, harmony, and happiness.
During the last 10 years and his transformative journeys across Asia & South America, Angell had rare opportunities to study and meditate with master healers and teachers of all faiths. He is trained in Shamanism, Plant Medicine, Shamanic Reiki, Medical Reiki, Sufi Healing, Sound Healing, Shamanic Breathwork, Meditation, and Norse Shamanism. In 2015, Angell opened The Sanctuary Shamanic Healing Center (now a branch of Oklevueha Native American Church) on his property in the Catskills where he does in-depth work with his clients, hosts workshops, run a retreat in the USA and Peru, and cultivates the land for organic vegetable farming, plant medicine, and honey bees.

Penetrating

I started with the chakras but other episodes turned out to be impressive as well.

upc91 ,

Season 1 is as amazing as season 2 is painful

For a soothing voice guiding you gently into whatever place you need - one of calm or one of action - season 1 is a godsend. Season 2 is jarring interviews with extremely new agey people heavily mispronouncing the Eastern concepts they claim to rely on. Do yourself a favour and ignore that completely. Stick to the archives.
