On Point
Jesus First. Jesus Only. I love this podcast.
Denouncing the evils
I love the messages at this church and how scripturally sound they are; that’s what has kept me tuning in for years, even after I left Montana. However, I am disappointed that they missed the opportunity to denounce the hate and racism that was present in DC. I understand that Montana is a red state and the majority of members at Faith Chapel are probably Trump supporters who tithe, but even so. Everyone else is watching and listening and looking for the church’s response to the evils we witnessed these past weeks. We don’t need a PC “this is confusing for everyone but look to Jesus” bit before the message. That’s easy to say. What’s hard is the truth. Christ and nationalism are not synonymous and it’s okay to have a stance on what has been happening. In fact, the church should have a powerful stance. It doesn’t have to be political. Leaders of the church are being watched like a hawk right now; the church is being watched like a hawk right now. As a Christian, I tuned in and felt sad to not hear anything. I can’t imagine how a nonbeliever who has been affected by the hateful imagery and racism would feel tuning in to see how a specific church is responding. Personally, it would turn me away.
Unreal Delivery
Quite possibly one of the best communicators I have ever heard. Nates ability to communicate the gospel with theological visualization is amazing. It’s like a history lesson that has me interested from the first words. His messages increase my faith every single time I hear one.
