Best Garden Podcast!!
I live in the Eastern United States. I am a Nurseryman/ISA certified arborist/landscaper. In my career I have work with tropical (house plants here), perennials and annual production and garden maintenance and now and for some years field grown trees and commercial landscaping and this is a great podcast. A lot of the plants talked about are annuals or house plants here but the techniques and approaches and just excitement of the host and guest and outlook on plants, gardens, and landscaping. Love the program!
Fun, informative, useful, even in the USA!
Fun, informative, useful, even in the USA!
I really like this podcast for several reasons. First, I feel like I'm with friends while I listen. Second, their topics interest me. They ask, then answer the questions I would ask if I were there. Third, they explore sustainability principles that apply to urban and suburban gardeners, small farmers to large commercial growers, with a focus on creating stable ecosystems to grow nutrient dense, flavorful foods. Fourth, I really like the way, as hosts, they urge their guests to tell who they are, where they're from and the story of their connection to gardening. Fifth, hearing how they deal with their garden problems is very helpful, even though I live in Southern California. And each week, each discusses a favorite plant and a pesky pest, which I usually recognize. Their program contributes to my knowledge base in sustainable, organic gardening. They sound like they'd be great neighbors!
