jfdop ,

Highly recommend

Been a listener for a few years now and this podcast continues to get better over time. The quality of the guests is superb and the discussion topics are fascinating with something for everyone and all interest levels. It has introduced me to a number of historians, books, and travel ideas (wolf hall weekend!).

That voice

I absolutely love history. I wanted to love this podcast, but I cannot stand listening to the narrators voice. It sounds whiny and babyish. I’ve tried three or four times to listen, but I just can’t.

I love this podcast. The host is interesting and a well informed and excellent with guest. She has wonderful humor that on par with her easy to digest scholarship.
It’s fun to learn this way.
