Refreshing, funny and smart
Whenever someone I know does something creative I get a bit nauseous. Inevitably they’re going to ask what I think of it and I will literally lose sleep over just how abysmally not good it is.
Luckily, Danny didn’t ask me what I thought of “Shootin’ the Chit” and even luckier... it’s actually pretty rad.
Their rapport, even on the debut episode, is fun and light and effortless. The game content is insightful and the tone is casual.
There IS swearing and they don’t shy away from their social and political responsibilities as content creators, so if that’s not your thing, stay away. ‘Cuz imma bet they don’t care what you think. They’re talking games for each other to each other but it’s not so inside baseball we can’t go along for the ride.
Totally digging it.
