Episode 115 Gary Kemp (Five Years On)
To mark five years of Creative Me Podcast. I thought it would be great to catch up with the very first guest I had on the podcast back in November 2017
Ever since I met Gary his not only been good people, but has actively been doing some great work via Doric Skateboards and is also passionate about Aberdeen and changing the "nothing ever happens here" narrative
We had a good reflective chat about the past five years, the challenges we have both experienced, the positive moments, and why we ultimately keep pushing forward in curating our own spaces. Big thanks to Gary for coming on the podcast for this 5 years on episode.

Episode 113 Matt Hickman-BrownBear
Episode 113 is with musician Matt Hickman better known as Brown Bear. I connected with Matt online two years ago, so it was great to finally record this conversation as we touched on quite a lot during this episode including how this all started for Matt, the current climate of the Scottish music industry, being a musician of colour in Scotland and the importance of identity and culture, and staying true to yourself.
Having spoken to Matt on a few occasions over the past two years you clearly get a sense that his an individual who's not doing this just for himself but is also looking at ways he can support others in the music industry as well. Matt will also be performing at Café Drummond's on Saturday 27th May and you can book your tickets on the link below.
This is the last episode for this season of Creative Me Podcast and we'll be back with new conversations after the summer holidays. Big thanks to all the guests this season and for everyone's support in helping this wee podcast reach over 30,000 listens.
