FANTASTIC Podcast! I love the History!
I absolutely love this cast! OTR is about all I listen to. I just love everything about it. There only thing better than binge listening to old Dragnet, Johnny Dollar, or Gunsmoke, is getting to learn about the context of what you're hearing. This podcast gives you that context.
In this day and age it can be difficult to imagine the family gathered around the radio instead of being enthralled by their phones, texting each other in the same room rather than taking to each other. But getting to learn the "behind the scenes" of the major entertainment from this bygone era makes it that much richer, deeper, and even more enjoyable.
With this cast, Austin it's providing what I consider a vital service. Not only keeping this wonderful form of entertainment alive, but giving us the tools to really internalize its content. Thank you so much!!!
Great Old Radio
These old episodes are wonderful to listen to. The writing and performances paint pictures in your head. Looking forward to more to be released.
