Truck parking accident leads to court | #172
An accident where a driver is killed is headed to court and I agree. Please do not park in an unsafe manner no matter what the circumstances. If you are not parking in a legal spot leave your parking lights on. That could have saved this person. Safety first no matter the company rule.

Another trucking company leaves drivers stranded | #171
Sunset Logistics abruptly shut down and left drivers around the country without a working fuel card. While I understand these things can happen, they knew full well what was going on. The same week they had no money for payroll they had four new hires getting started. This to me shows a lack of integrity that is so prevalent in the country today.

Let’s go in the way back machine and see how I got my start in trucking. I started just after deregulation and I will tell you it was a great move for me because I was working at Arby’s at the time and had really no future that I could see there. I wanted to get on the open road and see the sights! I did and now I go home everyday in a local job and love it. Put on your parachute pants and let’s go!

Is Biden right? Do 3rd parties steal votes from him? | #169
In a twist away from trucking I want to talk about third parties stealing votes from major party candidates. Is this true? Many of you may not know that I ran for office as a Libertarian candidate here in Indiana many years ago. Did I steal votes? No. People chose to vote for me. Same as in the presidential elections. People choose who they want to vote for. You need to earn every vote. Anyone can win if there are no other candidates. Biden actually asked Hilary Clinton of all people for advice! They are scared and should be that they may lose. Be the candidate people actually want to vote for not just the only one on the ballot.

Freightwaves vs ATA and the fake trucker shortage | #168
Freightwaves recently came out with an excellent article about the trucker shortage and the fact that there isn’t one. The whole thing is made up and I agree. Of course, the American Trucking Association had to pipe in with their take on the shortage. The ATA is not right on this and I explain why using this and the fake teacher shortage that has been written about lately. As long as companies can keep trucks moving and have a 100% turnover there is no shortage.

Military confidence is at an amazing low. I wonder why? | #167
It turns out the confidence in the military is at a low and no one can figure out why that might be. Do you have any ideas? It hasn’t been this low since 1997. Who was President then? The highest was in 2018. I wonder who the President was at that time. We talk about it.

Informative and Entertaining
Excellent and informative podcast. He’s doesn’t beat around the bush when it comes to Marks Facts. He says what your thinking that you can’t say elsewhere on the inter web (Thanks Al Gore, for inventing it) and why are we not on MARS, humans are stupid and he’ll explain to those Karen’s or Billy Bob’s that is still in their parents cinder block basement sitting on a folding chair with one short leg, tv with rabbit ears, with the picture all pixelated (Snow for those of a certain age) stop subscribe here and tune into his YouTube Chanel of the same name.
Why we are not on Mars
I’ve been looking for a podcast for a while that explains why we are not on Mars and have hit the jackpot. Mark is one heck of a podcaster and his sidekick Gracie just adds to how good the show is. Keep up the great work.
End of the World
I love the podcast. I really do, but Mark’s not delivering the best podcast on the planet on Tuesday’s and Friday’s even when the weather’s nice. That’s why I’m not giving him 5 stars. I still like him though. Just giving my honest review.
